The Traveler
I am traveling one long journey
Put my boots on, got no worries
‘cause I’m traveling with the earth below me
and miles before me, and in the morning
I am draped by the morning sun, I just keep moving on
The past forever gone, and now I see
the roads that God lay in front of me, what will I choose
the road that’s weary the path’s been beaten, trampled down or will I choose
the road less traveled, an uphill battle, uncertainty
what if I lose?
I am traveling a life long journey
my boots are worn, and my eyes are weary
‘cause I’m traveling with the sky above me
and miles behind me, and in the evening
I am draped by the setting sun, I just keep moving on
The past forever gone, and now I see
the roads that God lay in front of me, what will I choose
the road that’s weary the path’s been beaten, trampled down or will I choose
the road less traveled, an uphill battle, uncertainty
what if I lose?
And as that morning equally lay on leaves no step had trodden black
I kept the first for another day, knowing I would never come back
And I…
I took the road less traveled by
I am traveling one long journey
Put my boots on, got no worries
‘cause I’m traveling with the earth below me
and miles before me, and in the morning
I am draped by the morning sun, I just keep moving on
The past forever gone, and now I see
the roads that God lay in front of me, what will I choose
the road that’s weary the path’s been beaten, trampled down or will I choose
the road less traveled, an uphill battle, uncertainty
what if I lose?
I am traveling a life long journey
the road less traveled made all the difference in my life
