Serenity, covers me
Like a blanket of peace and tranquility
My life’s complete w/o you here
There’s nothing left in life for me to fear

Hanging out with my friends on the weekend
Getting drunk with my cat on the floor again
Finished traveling the states playing baseball
Now I’m playing real late in the parish hall

I’m happy with the cards dealt in my hand

Going home doing laundry on the weekend
Riding rides with my sis at the park again

Now I’m shagging my wife in the kitchen
