A couple Joxer Gigs and another Hard Rock gig under our belt. Thanks to ALL of you who came out to see any one of those shows. We had a great time playing for you. We got some really good responses back from our newest demo (The Short Bus II). If you'd like a copy, mail the band and we'll get you one. Some new stuff from us... Beginning in January, the band will begin sending out our monthly newsletter. It will contain the show dates and locations for that month, some upcoming activities and personal information about the band. We are also beginning work on a full length cd to be out sometime in the middle of next year. We are in the planning stages, but so far it is shaping up to be Great! Our new studio is also nearing the final stages of completion. We should be moving into that early next year as well. Well, we here at West Rd. just want to say that we had a great time and from what we could tell all of you did too. A Big Special Thanks to Mauricio, Mellissa, Joey, Diane, Mark, Travis, & Kelly who were a HUGE help with running the Beer Bus, videotaping the gig, and workin' the T-shirt booth. We couldn't have done it without you guys. (And by "guys" I mean, of couse, in a unisex general sorta way) Thanks to all who came out to see us for the first time, and of course a big thanks to those loyal West Roaders who always grace us with their smiling faces and many cheers. Love, Greece, and a chicken piece,.... or something like that.

The Joxer gig was great, but now we're geared up for the show at the Hard Rock!! As you will know if you've checked out our show dates page, tickets are $10 or for just $15 more you can ride the Beer Bus!! They're going fast, so if you want to get yours email us with how many tickets you need and we'll get em to you pronto!! Also if you're driving yourself, tickets are available at the door (just tell 'em you're with West Rd.), and be sure to bring a designated driver along! We've got some new songs recorded and they'll be available on our new demo this Saturday, Hope to see you there! -- MS

First off...thanks for all those that came out to the Fiesta last weekend. It was a really fun show and we hope you enjoyed the new songs we debuted. For those who missed it, don't worry, we have many more shows already booked over the next two months. Like always, we'll be playing at the greatest Irish Pub this side of the Atlantic Ocean...Joxer Daly's. Joxer's has invited us back to play two gigs, one on July 17th and another on Aug 14th. Keep an eye out for drink specials offered by the band in conjunction with the bar. Also, stay vigilant for our July 23rd gig down at the Hard Rock Cafe in Newport Beach. This will be a rockin' gig with three Southern California bands kicking off the start of the Pro Beach Volleyball Tour that weekend in Newport Beach. A new year, some new songs, the same old band! Well, the three of us have made it 8 months together now and still going strong. We finished six shows in the past two months with a great gig at Club Good Hurt a couple weekends ago. Thanks to all of you that came out to support us. Since then, we have begun preparation to go back in the studio and record ALL of our songs. Yes, within the next year, we will be concentrating on getting our songs recorded in our studio, mixed, and out there on the site for you to listen to. We have also been writing and creating new songs, so stay tuned at some future gigs for those. We're really excited about them and hope that they will find that special place in your hearts that all of our others have. We are also currently booking a few show dates this summer, so periodically check out Show Dates for those.
